9 CMS students secure 100 percentile inInternational Benchmark Test (IBT)
Lucknow, May 1 : Nine meritorious students of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I have secured places in the 100th percentile in Science, getting the top rank globally, in the International Benchmark Test (IBT) organised by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). These students are Garima Rathee, Shubranshu Pandey, Praharsh Chaturvedi, Aditya Srivastava, Apratim Tewari, Ranesh Maurya, Saksham Pandey, Anvesha Singh and Satyarth Pandey, who have added their names to the illustrious list of students securing 100 percentile in a particular subject from all over the world. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that from India, over 50,000 students sat in the IBT test of which, these CMS students have secured places in the 100th percentile in Science. At this competition, CMS students showcased their talents and skills in observing and measuring, interpreting data, inferring, predicting, drawing conclusions, reasoning and problem-solving etc.
Mr Sharma
informed that the International Benchmark Test (IBT) is an internationally
administered programme of assessments to compare student performance globally.
The IBT tests are skill-based and they do not follow any single national
curriculum allowing students from all countries to be compared fairly. CMS is
constantly engaged in enhancing students' self-confidence and developing their
overall personality by encouraging them to participate in various competitions.
It is due to these efforts that CMS students keep bringing laurels to the
school at national as well as international levels.
