Three CMS students win Gold in inter-school Yoga competition

Lucknow, October 13 : Three students of City Montessori School, Asharfabad Campus, Mohammad Ahil Ansari of class I, Rehan Hussain of class 5 and Ayaan Ali of class 9 have brought laurels to the institution by winning gold medals in the inter-school Yoga Competition. The event was organised under the aegis of Lucknow District Yoga Association. These CMS students notched the top position by displaying their talent in performing various yoga asanas amidst a tough competition, which also involved participation of students from various prestigious schools of Lucknow.

        Mohammad Ahil won gold in under-8 year category while Rehan earned his medal in 8 to 10 years category and Ayaan in 12 to 14 years category. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated these talented students and encouraged all the students to regularly perform Yoga for good health and fitness.

            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting a holistic education to its students, which contributes in their all-round development.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".         A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
