CMS student wins Gold in National Taekwondo Championship


 

Lucknow, October 27 : Atharva Kumar Verma, a talented student of Class III of City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II brought glory to the institution by winning a Gold medal in Taekwondo held under the Open National Championship 2021. Atharva has won this gold in the under-10 category by competing with the selected participants from across the country. The championship was organised under the aegis of School Games and Activity Development Foundation. In a tough competition, Atharva displayed his sporting talent, agility and skills and earned a Gold, making name and fame at national level.

        CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that CMS students are not just excelling in academics but they are also making their mark in sports and other fields, bringing fame to the institution. This is solely because of the holistic education imparted in CMS, which includes, besides quality education, best-in-class training facilities in sports and developing their skills in various fields.
