CMS student wins gold in International Mathematics Olympiad


 

Lucknow, 22 October : Achyut Pandey, a student of Class 9 of CMS Kanpur Road campus brought laurels to the institution by winning the Gold medal in the International Mathematics Olympiad organised by Science Olympiad Foundation, Gurugram, Haryana. Students from several countries participated in this prestigious event wherein amidst a tough competition, Achyut bagged gold after displaying his knowledge acumen in solving mathematical problems. He was awarded a medal and certificate for his outstanding achievement by the organisers.Achyut has credited his parents, school and his teachers for this outstanding achievement.Founder Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Achyut for his incredible achievement and said that CMS prepares its students to participate in various international competitions by giving them free of cost coaching in extra hours.
