CMS student wins first prize in Declamation competition

Lucknow, October 6 : Madiha Khan, a student of class 8 of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Extension brought glory to the school by winning first prize in the Declamation competition organised by Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC). In a tough competition where students of prestigious schools of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand participated, Madiha impressed the jury members with her strong reasoning and eloquent speech and won herself the first prize.

        CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that for the past 62 years, CMS is single-mindedly pursuing its goal of inculcating a global vision in its students because of which they are consistently winning accolades in national and international competitions. In order to hone their talents and develop their latent skills, CMS organises 28 educational international events in various disciplines such as Science, Mathematics, English, Computers, Robotics, Astronomy, Music, Sports etc that invite students from different countries of the world and create a platform for inter-national and inter-cultural exchange while testing their knowledge in various competitions. Such interventions build confidence in children and enable them to excel in both academics and extra-curricular activities.
