CMS alumna gains admission in prestigious AIIMS

Lucknow, October 7 : Gauri Chaturvedi, a former student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has secured admission in prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi to pursue Masters Degree in Medical Pharmacology. She achieved this feat in the midst of an extremely tough competition where thousands of candidates were vying for just two unreserved seats. AIIMS conducts entrance examination for Post Graduate courses twice in a year and students who have done B.Pharma, B.Sc. (Chem or Bio) and MBBS are eligible to appear for admission in PG.

            Exuding pride, Dr Vineeta Kamran, Senior Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus said, “Gauri started her schooling from CMS Kanpur Road and was an exceptional student throughout. She completed her class 12 (ISC) with 96.3% marks in 2016”. She later did her B.Pharma from BITS Pilani. Talking about her further goals, Gauri says, “I want to work as a biomedical scientist, pharma researcher, and toxicologist to study the effects of various medicines and help in drug development processes”.

            Dr Jagdish Gandhi, Founder Manager of CMS heartily congratulated Gauri for her outstanding achievement and said, “CMS creates opportunities for its students to qualify various competitive exams and pursue higher studies from some of the best institutions by giving them free-of-cost coaching classes after school.”
