CMS student wins first prize in Wildlife Video-making competition


Lucknow, 26 October : Prakul Chandra, a class 10 student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road campus won first prize in the Inter-school video competition based on wildlife, ‘Just-a-minute’, bringing laurels to the institution. This competition was organised under the aegis of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden, Lucknow wherein students from various prestigious schools of Lucknow participated. Prakul, through his video titled 'Birds of UP', beautifully depicted the diversity of birds, and gave the message to spread awareness to keep this biodiversity intact. The jury of the competition highly appreciated his creative thinking and technical knowledge in creating the video and awarded him the first prize. CMS Founder Dr. Jagdish Gandhi lauded Prakul's awareness of wildlife and congratulated him on his success.

            CMS Chief Public Relations Officer, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that CMS encourages its students to acquire skills in their areas of interest, and motivates them to participate in various creative competitions, with an aim to hone their skills and build their confidence. It is because of these efforts that CMS students are setting new benchmarks in various national and international competitions and bringing laurels to the city.
