CMS student wins champions trophy in state level mathematical competition

Lucknow, 8 January : Rida Sheikh, a talented student of class V, City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus brought laurels to the institution by winning the championship trophy in state level abacus competition. The competition was organized online under the aegis of educational institute Brainobrain. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that students from various noted schools of UP participated in this competition to showcase their analytical skills. Amidst tough competition, this bright student of CMS Indira Nagar Campus opted for various abacus tricks to solve mathematical problems and was declared champion. Her achievement has paved the way to a bright future, capable of elevating the school's flag high nationally and internationally. The organizers were all praise for her and awarded her a certificate and championship trophy.

            Mr Sharma said that CMS students are earning name and fame for themselves and their country not only at national but also international level in different fields of knowledge. CMS encourages its pupils to make their mark in various activities apart from the regular prescribed subjects. It is for this reason that the students are winning medals and trophies in creative fields, fine arts, music, social service, debates etc leading to their all-round personality development.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
