CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.

        Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. It is definitely very reassuring. So yes, I am very happy, to say the least".

        A deep fascination with learning has been at the very core of all Anahita's achievemnets. This passion for learning has helped her gain numerous accolades - she is a 3-time National Topper of the Internatinal Benchmark Test's English exam and was also declared the World Topper (wiht a whopping 100 percent score) in 2018. Anahita was also one of the 200 students selected for the prestigious Times Scholars Scholarship in 2019.

        She serves as her school's Head Girl and the Editor of Cambridge Section's in-house publication, The Bridge, as well. Surprisingly enough, the two places Anahita feels most as home are either on stage in front of a packed audience, or a quiet library.

        Dr Achal Singh and Mrs Monica Singh, are definitely proud prents. "We are very proud of her, not only because of the results she has gotten, but also because of the person she has become in that process of getting these scores", they say.
