Online inauguration of International Day of Education at CMS today


 

Lucknow, 23 January : The UN International Day of Education being organized by City Montessori School, Aliganj Campus II will be inaugurated online tomorrow on Sunday, 24 January at 5.00 pm. Mayor of Lucknow, Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony. This information has come from the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that this two day international educational event is being organized on 24th and 25th January, primarily for 3 to 14 years old students of primary and junior sections in which students from prestigious schools of India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Croatia are participating. Mr Sharma informed that this educational event is aimed at enhancing students' academic and creative capacities. He said that this event will play an important role in reviving the activities stalled during the Corona pandemic, enhancing family support in educational activities, boosting the morale of students, teachers and parents and instilling in them a new vigour for life. CMS believes that this is the best time to promote and exchange ideas of unity, peace and cooperation in society and inspire the future generation to reach new heights.

              Mr Sharma informed that large number of entries for offline educational events including Groovy Moovy - Energizer (solo singing), Artistry - Art on platter (family activity), Rhythmic Fusion - East meets West (instrumental music), Ensemble (choral singing) and Weaving your survival - quilt your thought (survival during pandemic) have been received from students of India and abroad. One event, namely 'The Power of Voice (Gen Orators)' will be held live on Zoom platform on 25 January after which the results of various competitions will be announced. Mr Sharma informed that this educational event will play an important role in developing an optimistic outlook in students, teachers and parents.
