Stephen Madan wins US$ 80,000 scholarship


 

Lucknow, January 9 : Stephen Madan, a brilliant student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been offered admission with a scholarship of US$ 80,000 by the prestigious University of San Francisco, USA, for pursuing higher studies there. This scholarship has been offered to him for the entire study period of four years.  Besides, University of Arizona and Arizona State University of USA; Simon Fraser University and University of Manitoba of Canada and University of Queensland of Australia have also invited him for higher studies. Thus, yet another talented CMS student has brought fame to the City of Lucknow having received admission offers from highly ranked universities of USA, Canada and Australia on the basis of his excellent academic record, hard work and talents. CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon while congratulating this meritorious student for his achievement, praised CMS teachers profusely for their hard work, guidance and encouragement to the students.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that this year, uptil now, over 21 outstanding students have been selected in various prestigious foreign universities. They have been granted scholarships worth crores of rupees for higher studies abroad. He further stated that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their study in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and other surrounding states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to go to Delhi to find a SAT exam centre.
