Confluence-2023 International Festival of World Unity and World Peace gets a wonderful start

Lucknow, August 30 : A grand inaugural ceremony was held at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium this evening to open the 4-day International Festival of World Unity and World Peace 'Confluence-2023' organized by City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus. Chief Guest of the function, Mr Sudhanshu Mani, Ex-General Manager of Indian Railways and the brain behind the Vande Bharat Express Train, ceremoniously inaugurated the Confluence-2023 by lighting the lamp of learning. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Shri Sudhanshu Mani said that it is of utmost importance to inculcate good human values in children and sow in their tender minds, the seeds of Unity and Peace. He profusely praised the peace festival, saying that providing a global platform for the students to exchange creative ideas is a mindful act. It is worth mentioning here that the 4-day 'Confluence-2023' is being organized from 31 August to 2 September in which over 500 students from Sri Lanka, Nepal and various states of India are participating.

            At the inaugural function of Conflence-2023, participants arrived from India and abroad and introduced themselves in a bravura performance. Scintillating educational-cultural presentations viz. Vande Mataram, All Religion Prayer, World Unity Prayer, Welcome Song, Confluence Song, Folk Dances, Choreography and many more by the CMS students compelled everyone to sway to the tunes of melodious music.CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that the main objective of this festival is to foster feelings of unity, peace, cooperation and brotherhood in the young generation. This festival is sure to go a long way in binding the hearts of students as one human race, he said. Mrs Ruchi Bhuwan Joshi, Principal of CMS Indira Nagar Campus and Convener of Confluence-2023, pinned her hope on this festival as a way to develop the spiritual qualities of students and transform their total personality.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the contests of Confluence-2023 will begin tomorrow Thursday, 31 August from 9.30 am onwards at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Tomorrow's competitions include Brain a Thon (Quiz), Opera House (Drama), Rhythmic Taal (Choreography), and Confluence (Team Event).
