CMS students' delegation return from London after participating in International Childrens Camp


 

Lucknow, 21 August :  A five-member students' delegation of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I returned from London, England, after participating in a month-long Children's International Summer Village Camp (CISV) held there from 22 July to 18 August 2023. Upon their arrival, the teachers and parents welcomed the students and team leader with great joy and happiness. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that the Children's International Summer Village (CISV), England had organized this International Children's Camp in which students' delegations of different countries comprising students aged around 11 to 12 years participated along with their team leaders. During the month-long camp, they were involved in various activities inspiring the young generation to strive for a more just and peaceful world. Mr Sharma informed that the delegation comprised four students namely Tavisha Singh, Adhiraj Awasthi, Nallajarla Manjushree and Atharva Singhal led by a teacher of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mrs Meenu Sharma.

            Mr Sharma further stated that the students shared the experiences of living in a Children's International Camp saying that they enjoyed living in a global family full of love, cooperation and brotherhood. They participated in many activities that revolved around World Unity, World Peace, Love and Friendship. Children of various countries pledged to bind the entire world with a cord of mutual understanding, love and unity, they said. Mr Sharma informed that the main aim and objective of this month-long Children's International Camp was to bring people of different nationalities and religions closer to each other by fostering in them the spirit of global brotherhood and values of World Unity and World Peace.
