CMS Cambridge Section organises Virtual Open Day


 Lucknow, 11 July :  The Cambridge section of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar extension campus organised a virtual Open Day on Saturday, offering parents a peek into the Section’s unique curriculum and teaching methodology. The event was inaugurated by nationally acclaimed principal of the school, Ms Manjit Batra who highlighted the novel features of the Cambridge curriculum. The Open Day was well attended with almost a thousand people in the audience, who were given a virtual tour of the infrastructure and facilities provided in the school. Parents saw what a different kind of education can do for their children.

              Three national CENTA awardee teachers of the CMS Cambridge Section - Ms Sneha Dwivedi, Ms Shan Ara Khan and Ms Shilpi Agarwal - spoke about the strengths of the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) approach to teaching.

              Students of different age groups described their experience of education at the CMS Cambridge Section, helping the audience understand the advantages of the international curriculum for children. Multiple queries of interested parents were satisfied in a question-answer session towards the end of the event.

              CMS Cambridge Section at Gomti Nagar Extension is Lucknow’s only school affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) exam board of the University of Cambridge. It is one of about 430 such schools in India, and one of about 10,000 schools globally affiliated to this exam board. The curriculum prepares children for success in today’s world.
