CMS students plant trees to disseminate the message of environmental protection

 

Lucknow, July 2 : Five students of City Montessori School including Vedansh Singh, Sharanya Agarwal, Navisha Singh, Gaurang Chatterjee and Prachi Madnani representing the 55,000 CMS students gave out the message of environmental protection by planting saplings in the school premises at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II. The above information has come from Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that on this occasion, a multimedia presentation on the importance of planting trees was also played which was much appreciated. Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, President, CMS; Mr Roshan Gandhi, Chief Executive Officer, CMS; Ms Susmita Basu, Head, Quality Assurance and Innovation Department, CMS; Principals of all CMS Campuses and Ms Sunita Gandhi, Hon. Chief Academic Advisor, CMS, were present on the occasion to motivate the students and to make the message of clean and green earth reach the masses.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi announced on this occasion that similar tree plantation programmes will be organised in all CMS campuses wherein all kinds of plants, specially the air purifying, medicinal and oxygen-giving plants will be planted. CMS Founder-Director Dr Bharti Gandhi and Senior Principal of CMS Gomti Nagar campuses, Ms Manjit Batra also expressed their views on this occasion.
