CMS students create record in Singapore International Maths Challenge Olympiad


 Lucknow, July 3 : Students of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus II and CMS Cambridge Section earned kudos for the country by bagging the highest number of 25 medals in the Singapore International Mathematics Challenge Olympiad, held online. CMS students exhibited excellence securing 5 gold, 7 silver and 13 bronze medals at this international competition. CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed his happiness over the success of these outstanding students and whished them a bright future. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that among the students who won gold medals are Daksh Agarwal and Saksham Singh from primary section of Gomti Nagar Campus II, while Akshat Yadav is from junior section. Daksh Kumar Singh and Soumya Upadhyay of CMS Cambridge section are the winners of gold medal in the senior category.

            Similarly, the silver medal winners comprise Shivansh Pratap Singh, Ajitesh Srivastava, Amrendra Singh, Sparsh Chaturvedi, Aadeeshwar Pathak, Utkarsh Singh  from CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II and Ojasvi Bhatt from CMS Cambridge Section. The bronze medal winners are Virat Singh, Raman Dev, Om Patel, Avigya Tripathi, Veer Pratap Singh, Avneesh Singh, Mukul Beri, Mridul Beri, Shashank Mishra from CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, and Ojal Agarwal, Bahir Alam, Akshaj Nigam and Anantya Srivastava from CMS Cambridge Section.

             Mr Sharma said that recognizing the importance of scientific age, CMS endeavours to develop scientific and global outlook in students which helps CMS students excel in national and international contests. CMS organizes several competitions in different subjects throughout the year to hone the skills of students, and provide them opportunity to explore their talents on a global platform. These events provide an international arena to the students and instil in them self-confidence. Therefore, talented and skilled students of CMS are scaling new heights of success at all fronts.
