14 students of Lucknow to get NTSE scholars of Govt. of India for their entire study period


 

Lucknow, July 17 :  Fourteen students of Lucknow have been selected for the prestigious National Talent Search Scholarship of which maximum number of 7 students are from City Montessori School while 2 students are from Lucknow Public School and one each from Lucknow Public Collegiate, The Millennium School, Army Public School, Delhi Public School, and Seth M R Jaipuria School. This scholarship will be provided to the selected students for the entire period of higher studies by the Government of India. The NTSE scholars will be provided with the scholarship of Rs. 1250 per month for Class XI and XII and Rs. 2000 per month for graduation and higher studies. The 7 CMS students who have brought laurels to the school at national level by securing National Talent Search Scholarship are Kavya Gupta, Samar Kumar Srivastava, Amol Shiv Mishra, Anurag Chaurasia, Devansh Bansal, ShivanshYadav and Arpit Anand.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship programme in India conducted every year by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi for students of Class 10 across country in two stages - the state and national level.

            CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated the students for bringing fame to the school and wished them a bright future.
