Virtual Macfair International-2020 in CMS from 21 to 25 September


 Lucknow, 15 September :  City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus is organizing  a five day International Mathematics and Computer Competition 'Macfair International-2020' online from 21 to 25 September. Students from different noted schools from across the world are virtually participating in it to showcase their scientific talent and knowledge. With their participation in various creative competitions, these participants will proclaim the need to establish World Unity, World Peace and World cordiality along with a message to utilize scientific experiments and inventions for the upliftment of society. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that this international competition will improve scientific and global thinking of students and also develop their creative skills and personality.

            Mr Sharma stated that events of this virtual Macfair International will be challenging for the students, helping them in their mental and confidence boost up. At this five-day virtual event, five competitions will be held for senior and junior category students. On the first day of Macfair on 21st September, the Science Quiz Contest (Eureka) will be held from 10.00 am to 11.30 am for the students of senior category. On 22nd September, the 2nd day of Macfair, Science and Mathematics Olympiad (Discovery) will be held in two sessions, first session from 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm and the second session from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm. On the 3rd day, 23 September, Jingle Contest (Sound of Music) will be held from 12 noon to 2.00 pm for the junior category. On 24 September, senior category students will be engaged in Debate Contest (Voila) from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm and on 25 September, junior category students will have Extempore Contest (Rhetoric) from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

            Mr Sharma said that CMS believes in imparting quality education to students along with academics. Virtual Macfair International gives an opportunity to students to hone their talents. It is also a way to give message of World Unity to the whole world
