CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon honoured by Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Dinesh Sharma


 Lucknow, 11 September : City Montessori School President and educationist,Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon received honours from the Deputy Chief Minister,Dr Dinesh Sharma for providing uninterrupted online teaching to CMS students and for providing help to the corona victims. The function was organized at the camp office of the Directorate of Secondary Education where Prof. Kingdon, for maintaining continuity of online quality education and helping corona victims in several ways, got aw1arded with a certificate as an 'Education Warrior'. The dignitaries present on this occasion included Ms Aradhana Shukla, Additional Principal Secretary, Secondary Education; Prof. Alok Rai, Vice-Chancellor, Lucknow University; Mr Ashok Ganguly, Ex-Chairman, CBSE and others.    Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that CMS leads in social activities and hence, had contributed Rs. 1,90,00,000/- (Rupees One Crore Ninety Lakh)  for corona victims and also provided food and bus facilities to the needy people.

            Mr Sharma further stated that under the guidance and constant support of Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, CMS students are taking online classes without any hindrance. Prof. Kingdon believes that it is a hard time for the people of the whole world and therefore, the children must be given meaningful character building and global education. It is because of continuous efforts of Prof. Kingdon that CMS students are studying and also learning creative activities like dance, music, quiz, yoga, sports, literary competitiveness, workshop, webinar and many more even during this corona pandemic.
