A unique amalgamation of science and art reflects at virtual Macfair International-2020

Lucknow, 23 September: Today, at the five-day long 'Macfair International-2020', an international competition of science and computer organized virtually by City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus, a wonderful blend of Science and music was seen. Immense talents of students in playing music, singing and artistic presentation clearly indicated their potential waiting eagerly to be exposed on a global platform like 'Macfair International-2020' was a thing to rejoice for everyone present online. The relevancy of organizing this event virtually is proved by huge support extended to it by students, teachers and parents. It may be mentioned here that CMS Mahanagar Campus has organized a 5-day virtual 'Macfair International-2020' from 21 to 25 September in which 40 teams from various schools of Nepal and India are participating to showcase their talents and also spread the message of World Unity and World Peace.

            It had been a very interesting day of virtual 'Macfair International-2020' today as 'Jingles', a competition of Sound of Music was held on the topic 'Science and Technology for World Peace'. Singing and presentation skills of participants had been worth watching. Udisha Tiwari of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II sang 'Technology is a blessing, it we use it for World Peace' and Param K Kanda of Amarjyoti Saraswati International School, Gujarat, presented instrumental music. Jahnavi Pokharel of Kaasthamandap Vidhyalaya, Kathmandu, Nepal sang 'We all stand here for peace together' and Samman Gurung of CMS RDSO Campus sang 'Science and Technology have made the world easy'. Other participants Angel, Manas Goyal, Ananya, Roshni Shukla, Prabhajeet Singh and many more displayed their talents and mesmerized one and all.

            The Convener of Macfair International and Principal of CMS Mahanagar Campus, Dr Kalpana Tripathi said that Macfair is a unique event of science and mathematics allowing students to showcase their skills. She appealed to the students to utilize science for the welfare of the humanity. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, informed that Debate competition of Macfair International will be held tomorrow on 24th September, Thursday from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
