CMS has done commendable job in education not only locally but globally -- Mr Suresh Kumar Khanna
Lucknow, 5 September : City Montessori School, on the grand occasion of Teachers Day, organized a wonderful Teachers Day Function online. The event became even more illuminated with the gracious online presence of Mr Suresh Kumar Khanna, Finance Minister, UP as the Chief Guest and Mr Anil Mishra, Registrar of Firms, Societies and Chits, UP, presided over the meeting. Principals of all 18 CMS Campuses and 3000 teachers and workers of CMS were present online to celebrate the function. CMS Founders and renowned educationists, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi; CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and Director of Strategy of CMS, Mr Roshan Gandhi extended their heartfelt thanks to all CMS Principals, teachers and workers. Ahead of it, Ms Susmita Basu, Superior Principal and Head, CMS Quality Assurance and Innovation Dept. welcomed the Chief Guest and all present on the occasion.
In his address on this occasion, the Chief Guest,
Mr Suresh Kumar Khanna, Finance Minister, UP, said that CMS has done
remarkable and praiseworthy work in the field of education not only on the
local front but on global front as well and the very dutiful and brilliant
teachers of CMS have made it happen. Amazingly, CMS teachers did not allow
corona pandemic to deter them from their very sacred work of teching. The
education aims at nurturing complete human beings and that requires material
development, values and development of culture in students, said Mr Khanna. Dr
Radhakrishnan has also emphasized on this pedagogy. Mr Anil Mishra,
Registrar of Firms, Societies and Chits, UP, said on this occasion that the
contribution of teachers in shaping the world is unparalleled. With their hard
work, commitment and dutious approach, CMS teachers have elevated the name of
Lucknow.
Prior to it, presentation of online
educational-cultural items started the function like School Prayer, All Religon
and World Peace Prayer, Welcome song, melodious song 'Jo Tumne Karke Dikhlaya',
Qawwali and motivational items based on the ideals of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan mesmerized one
and all.
