CMS student selected in Junior Academy of The New York Academy of Sciences


 Lucknow, 17 September : Arav Pratap Singh a brilliant Class XII student of City Montessori School, RDSO Campus has been selected in Junior Academy of ‘The New York Academy of Sciences.’ The New York Academy of Sciences shortlists students from all over the world and pairs them with scientists of NASA for research programmes. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi applauded Arav's achievement saying that CMS is continuously preparing its students to take up decision making global careers and its students are making their mark in every arena all over the world.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the Junior Academy is a passionate community of problem solvers made up of talented students, STEM experts, and industry leaders from around the world. Junior Academy members are elite students and mentors who are dedicated to designing innovative solutions to society's greatest challenges. Each year, The New York Academy of Sciences selects 1,000 of the world's brightest high school students (aged 13-17) to become part of The Junior Academy, joining a dynamic global network of like-minded peers and mentors.

            Mr Sharma further stated that Arav researched on data interpolation and mathematical modelling and submitted his work to the New York Academy of Sciences. He got selected for his passion for STEM which he displayed through his essays. If another of his research papers on which he is currently working, gets selected, he will get a lifetime opportunity to visit the World Trade Centre, New York.  The duration of the stay will be 3 days in which all the expenses will be borne by The New York Academy of Sciences.
