New Education Policy will better serve childrens well being — Dr Jagdish Gandhi

Lucknow, July 31 : Founder of City Montessori School and renowned educationist,
Dr Jagdish Gandhi, while supporting and appreciating the 'New Education Policy', said that this policy will play a significant role in shaping children's future and will also be a milestone in the development of our country. To provide quality education to poor and less privileged children under Right to Education (RTE) Act, the amount of fees should be transferred directly in the accounts of child or the parents, under Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and the maximum benefit of New Education Policy will be achieved, suggested Dr Jagdish Gandhi.  DBT system will give poor children an option to select the school of their choice as a fundamental right.

Speaking further, Dr Gandhi said that New Education Policy will improve children's latent creativity and innovative skills. Apart from it, segregation of responsibilities in running the schools and colleges, controlling and evaluation will bring transparency in system. He further said that the rules of New Education Policy must be enforceable and rules and sub-rules must be explicitly defined to clear all doubts.
