CMS students celebrate Van Mahotsav Week, spread message to keep earth verdant


Lucknow, 5 July: Students of various campuses of City Montessori School performed several creative activities online during 'Van Mahotsav Week (1 to 7 July)' and spread the message to keep the earth verdant and conserve environment. The students of CMS RDSO Campus  planted trees in their homes and neighbouring areas and also made poster and cards with the message to keep earth green whereas the students of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II had an inter-house competition through which they awared people about deforestation. During the competition, students of class VI performed dance drama spreading the message for becoming environment sensitive and appealed people not to cut trees, plants and forests. Dialogues and scripts of skits were written by students themselves who presented it online to showcase their creative talents. The students were awarded E-certificate.
            Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that City Montessori School is such an institution that has been giving message 'Paryavaran Ko Bachao, Dharti Ko Sajao' to save environment to its students, parents and society motivating the people through its 56000 students and their parents to conserve and save environment. Mr Sharma further said that CMS has always led the social awakening efforts and CMS students are the highest scorers in academics and they are also socially conscious. CMS endeavours to make its students understand the importance of environment conservation so that not only present generation rather the coming generation also breathes in fresh air.
