Kings University, Canada offers admission with US$ 45,000 scholarship to CMS student
Lucknow, July 7 : Nikita Sharma, a very
talented student of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus has been offered
admission with scholarship of US$ 45,000 by the King's University College,
Canada for pursuing higher studies there. She has been awarded this scholarship
for the entire study period of four years. Apart from this, University of
Windsor and University of Victoria, Canada have invited her to take admission
there. Thus, yet another talented student of CMS made it to esteemed foreign
universities owing to her diligence, aptitude and knowledge, and earned kudos
for the institution. CMS President Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, while congratulating
this meritorious student for her achievement, wished a very bright future to
her.
Chief
Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that till date this year, 87 CMS students have
been offered admission in many of the top universities of USA, UK, Canada,
Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany etc., the majority of them on scholarship.
He further stated that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students'
horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their study in top institutions
of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced
Placement (AP) exam test centre in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of
U.P. and other neighbouring states to apply for higher studies in the best
universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who
wished to study abroad had to go to Delhi to find a SAT exam centre.
