CMS alumna appointed Head of Communications for Asia Pacific Region at Lenova Data Center


Lucknow, July 22 : Shonali Chakravarty, an illustrious alumna of CMS Mahanagar and CMS Aliganj Campuses has been recently appointed as the Head of Communications for the Asia Pacific region at the Lenovo Data Center where she will provide strategic counsel and support to the company's APAC business as well as also carry forward the CMS's ideology 'Jai Jagat' or 'Hail the World'. Thus, an another talented CMS student has raised the flag of CMS by holding a high position in the prestigious company of the world. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Shonali on her outstanding achievement and wished her more success in life.
            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that Shonali, an exemplary student of CMS, studied till class X at CMS Mahanagar and completed her class XII from CMS Aliganj Campus. She was a brilliant student during her school days, excelling not only in academics but also in other extra-curricular activities. She participated and won several awards in various international events organised by the school. She credits her success in career to the CMS model of education and says, 'CMS laid some very deep foundations and helped me unlearn a lot of things so that I could challenge the status quo where I needed to, research deeply enough to acknowledge my ignorance in others and acquire the wisdom to know the difference. More importantly, it fostered a feeling of global citizenship while inculcating a healthy appreciation for Indian heritage and 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' that has helped me work alongside and manage colleagues from various nationalities, the world over.'
            Mr Sharma added that as part of her new assignment, Shonali will drive the Data Center Group's internal and external communication efforts across APAC's multilingual and diverse geographies.
