Excellent Performance of CMS students in Music Exam


 

Lucknow, 18 September : 13 extremely talented students of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus have won distinction in music exam organized by Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj thus bringing laurels to the institution. In this prestigious music exam, Divya Srivastava, Aadya Srivastava, Annwita Jaiswal and Ipshita Singh have secured the first position with distinction in vocal category in both theory and practical examinations, while Abhipray Tripathi, Sarthak Kumar Maurya, Ananya Sachan, Daksh Sahai and Virat Singhal showed their class on the synthesizer getting distinction and first position in both theory and practical exams. Similarly, Atharv Tiwari, Anvi Tiwari and Samriddhi Srivastava secured disctinction in theory exams. Aurijeet Ghosh also secured the first prize on the synthesizer. These 13 students have shown great promise of winning medals for the country in future on the international level. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Kingdon expressed great joy and satisfaction over the marvellous results achieved by the students and wished them a very happy future ahead.

             Head of CMS Communications, Mr Rishi Khanna said that CMS not only imparts three kinds of education-human, material and divine to its students it also empowers them with cultural values and knowledge of music, dance and fine arts. Teachers recognize the hidden talents of students and encourage them to realize their talents. It is for this reason that CMS is progressing so rapidly and students are making their presence felt in national and international contests in different fields of knowledge including science, arts, music and poetry.
