CMS student wins Gold Medal in National Taekwondo Championship


 

Lucknow, August 24 : Mansi Sharma, a Class VI student of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I, has showcased her exceptional sporting talent by winning a gold medal at the CISCE National Taekwondo Championship held in Polachi, Tamil Nadu. The championship was organized under the aegis of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). Mansi excelled in the Under-14 category, earning accolades for her outstanding performance. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon wished this promising young athlete a bright future. This information was given by Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head of the CMS Communication Department. Mr. Khanna further informed that many selected students from prestigious schools across the country participated in this Taekwondo Championship. Despite the tough competition, the talented CMS student secured the gold medal, demonstrating her athletic prowess, agility, skills, and strength, signaling her potential to make a mark at national and international levels.

            Mr Khanna informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international levels in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round development.
