Aviral of CMS wins CISCE National Boxing Championship

Lucknow, September 19 : Aviral Gupta, a talented Class 6 student of City Montessori School, Chowk Campus, has made his mark by winning the CISCE National Boxing Championship, held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. Aviral claimed the championship trophy in the 28-30 kg weight category under the Under-14 category, showcasing his exceptional sporting talent and bringing pride to his school. CMS President, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, expressed her happiness over Aviral’s remarkable achievement and wished him a bright future. This information was given by the Head of the CMS Communication Department, Mr. Rishi Khanna. Mr. Khanna stated that selected students from across the country participated in this prestigious championship, demonstrating their athletic prowess. Amidst stiff competition, Aviral delivered an outstanding performance, powered by his strength and excellent technique, indicating that he is poised to enhance the nation's prestige on both national and international stages.

          Mr. Khanna also mentioned that CMS is wholeheartedly dedicated to nurturing its students not only intellectually but also in sports and other social areas. This dedication is why CMS students shine not only in academics but also in sports and various other fields at both national and international levels.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
