Vaibhav of CMS grabs the gold in State-level Karate Championship


 

Lucknow, 1 October : Vaibhav Pandey, a talented Class X student of City Montessori School, Mahanagar Campus won the gold medal at the 67th State-level School Games Karate Championship held in Ayodhya, thus bringing laurels to the institution. Vaibhav has won this gold in Under-17 Boys category of 78kg. Now, he will represent his school in the upcoming National School Games. This championship was organized by the School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Uttar Pradesh. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. Mr Sharma informed that selected participants of various schools from across the state of Uttar Pradesh showcased their karate skills in this Championship, wherein, amidst tough competition, this CMS student displayed tremendous stamina and skills and earned the gold medal. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed profound happiness on this achievement  of Vaibhav and wished him a bright future ahead.

               Mr Sharma informed that excellence at CMS is not just limited to academics. CMS students are also making their mark at national and international level in sports, music, dance, and various other fields. This is because CMS believes in imparting holistic education to its students, which contributes to their all-round holistic development.
