CMS Principal, Ms Manjit Batra conferred ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’


 

Lucknow, October 3 : Ms. Manjit Batra, Senior Principal of Gomti Nagar Campus II and Cambridge Extension, has been conferred the Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 by the Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate (ASISC). This recognition was bestowed upon her in acknowledgment of her exceptional contribution to the field of education. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Shri Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma added that ASISC Secretary and Treasurer Mr. Sudhir Joshi honoured Ms Batra with 'Lifetime Achievement Award' which included a citation, memento and cash award at a glittering ceremony held in Jhansi. On this occasion, over 200 principals from various schools across the country, educationists and eminent personalities were present. Shri Sharma said that earlier, Ms. Batra has been honoured with various awards for excellence in educational service, prominent among them being the 'President's Award' given by the then President Shri APJ Abdul Kalam and 'Governor's Award' in Uttar Pradesh.

            CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi, while congratulating Ms Batra for this outstanding achievement, expressed gratitude towards her for her contribution to the field of education. On this occasion, Dr Gandhi said that the hard work and dedication of CMS Principals and teachers has enabled the school to scale new heights of fame and success. Teachers have achieved remarkable goals during the school's 64 years of academic journey, which is a matter of pride not only for the school but for the entire country.

            Mr Sharma informed that Ms Manjit Batra has been selected for this recognition due to her stellar work, commitment and selfless service to the noble cause of education.  She has been an inspiration to the entire community of educationists. Ms. Batra has been playing an active role in the educational field for the past 47 years and is continuously engaged in efforts to make the future generation ideal citizens of society by connecting them with academic excellence as well as life values.
