5-day International Conference of Chief Justices of the World in Lucknow from November 3


 

Lucknow, October 10 : The 24th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World (ICCJW-2023) is being organized by City Montessori School (CMS) at its CMS Kanpur Road auditorium from 3 to 7 November 2023. Presidents, Prime Ministers, Ministers along with over 170 Chief Justices, Judges and legal luminaries from over 50 countries will be participating in this international conference. This was stated by the Convener of the Conference, renowned educationist and CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi at a press conference held here today. He added that this historic conference, based on Article 51 of the Constitution of India, is devoted to safeguarding the future of the world's 2.5 billion children by bringing about world unity and world peace.

        Expressing happiness, Dr Gandhi stated that the eminent dignitaries from around the globe confirming their presence at this historic conference include Hon'ble Mr Stjepan Mesic, Ex-President, Croatia; Hon'ble Mr Jocelerme Privert, Ex-President, Haiti; Hon'ble Mr Jean-Henry Ceant, Ex-Prime Minister, Haiti; Hon'ble Dr Pakalitha B. Mosisili, Ex-Prime Minister, Lesotho; Hon'ble Mr Justice Bheki Maphalala, Chief Justice, Eswatini; Hon'ble Mr Justice Chan Reec Madut, Chief Justice, South Sudan; Hon'ble Mr Justice Hassan Bubacar Jallow, President, Supreme Court, Gambia; Hon'ble Ms Justice Bibi Rehana Mungly-Gulbul, Chief Justice, Mauritius; Hon'ble Mr Justice Olu Ariwoola, Chief Justice, Nigeria; Hon'ble Justice Dr Joel Leonardo, President, Supreme Court, Angola; Hon'ble Mr Justice Victor Dassi Odossou, President, Supreme Court, Benin; Hon'ble Mr Justice Adelino Manuel Muchanga, Chief Justice, Mozambique; Hon'ble Ms Justice Roxanne George-Wiltshire, Acting Chief Justice, Guyana; Hon'ble Mr Justice Dr Adel Omar Sherif, Deputy Chief Justice, Egypt and many others.

        Giving out the detailed programme of this historic conference, Dr Jagdish Gandhi informed that the Chief Justices and eminent personalities of various countries will arrive at New Delhi on 1st November and will visit Agra to see the Taj Mahal. They will return to Delhi and will pay floral tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at   the Raj Ghat and after that, the first session of the Conference will be held at that Constitutional Club, New Delhi. The distinguished guests will arrive at Lucknow on 3rd November, 2023.

        Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that the participating countries of this international conference comprise Albania, Angola, Australia, Belize, Benin, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Botswana, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Costa Rica, Croatia, Congo, Djibouti, Ecuador, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gambia, Georgia, Germany, Guinea, Guyana, Haiti, Kyrgyz Republic, Lebanon, Lesotho, Luxembourg, Madagascar, Malawi, Malta, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Peru, Poland, Sao Tome and Principe, South Korea, South Sudan, Suriname, Switzerland, Tchad, USA, Venezuela and India.

        Mr Sharma informed that City Montessori School has organized 23 international conferences till now which have seen participation of over 1429 Chief Justices, Judges and Heads of State from 138 countries. These eminent personalities have unequivocally supported the CMS call for World Unity, World Peace and safety and security of the world's 2.5 billion children and generations yet to be born and the 24th International Conference is yet another step in this direction.
