CMS girls win Boxing Championship


 

Lucknow, 18 October : Boxing talents of City Montessori School, Station Road Campus emerged victorious winning the Championship Trophy of Under-19 Girls category in CISCE Regional Boxing Championship held in Nainital. The Runner-Up Trophy of the Under-14 Girls category of the same championship was also won by CMS girls. The students of Station Road Campus proved their sporting talent winning a total of 24 medals including 8 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 6 bronze medals in this championship. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi blessed these talented players wishing them a bright career ahead. This information has come from Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS.  Shri Sharma stated that the students who won the gold medals are Divyanshi Pandey, Aarya Sahu, Aditi Mani, Tejasvi Vaish, Tanya, Medhavya, Adrika Gupta and Ananya Singh. Apart from this, 10 students won silver medals while 6 students won bronze medals. Various schools of UP and Uttarakhand participated in the championship and displayed their sports talents, CMS students proved much superior in technique, skills and stamina and bagged the maximum number of medals.

               Mr Sharma further stated that CMS not only prepares its students for academic excellence, it also prepares them for games and sports. As a result, CMS students are raising the school flag high in academics and sports nationally and internationally.
