CMS Vice-President delivers T.P. Pandya Memorial Lecture at Lucknow University

Lucknow, October 5 : Vice-President of City Montessori School, Dr Roger David Kingdon delivered an enlightening  lecture to the students of Lucknow University. Arriving here in Lucknow on special invitation of the university, Dr Kingdon hails from Imperial College, London, UK. He was speaking at the 14th T.P. Pandya Memorial Lecture held at Lucknow University. This information has come from the Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that Dr Roger David Kingdon has done a lot of scientific research and he shared his knowledge interacting freely with the students of the university. Speaking about the intriguing and mysterious phenomena of Ball Lightening, Dr Kingdon explained the science behind it and later answered the queries of the students in detail, who were enlightened after interacting with this renowned scientist. In his address, Dr Kingdon explained the role of silicon vapour that arises when lightening falls upon the earth. CMS President and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon also expressed her views on the qualitative teaching and role of teachers today.  Earlier, the Head of the Physics Department at Lucknow University, Prof. N.K. Pandey, Prof.R. K. Shukla and Prof Aanchal Srivastava welcomed Dr Roger Kingdon and his wife and CMS President, Prof Geeta Gandhi Kingdon to the University.  Prof Atul Srivastava delivered the Vote of Thanks at the end of the programme.
