International Youth Fest with participation from students disseminates the message of World Unity

Lucknow, 7 December : The Online International Youth Fest organized by City Montessori School, Rajajipuram Campus II came to a grand conclusion today. On this occasion, the entries of students received online from various countries including Hong Kong, Thailand, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and India for different interesting competitions of the festival were displayed amidst a virtual educational-cultural presentation. Through these entries the students of various countries gave the message of World Unity and World Peace in an interesting way garnering massive appreciation of the audience. The competitions for which entries were received online for this event included Expressions (card designing competition), Myriad Hues (poster making), Photo Montage (collage making competition), and Poetry in Voice (poem recitation competition). Renowned personalities from various fields judged the entries.

            Earlier, the Chief Guest, Dr R P Singh, Professor, English, Lucknow University, while inaugurating the festival, said that the world today is going through an intellectual revolution. As such we all owe the responsibility towards the future generation to lead them towards establishing an ideal world order. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi expressed his faith on this occasion that the International Youth Fest will prove to be a milestone in creating an environment of world unity and world peace. President of CMS and MD, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said in her address that the International Youth Fest provides a great platform to the student community to interact with their counterparts with different countries and thus enhance their knowledge of various subjects. Chief Executive Officer of CMS, Mr Roshan Gandhi also praised the event and said that it has given an outlet to the latent talents of the students and provide the students an opportunity to exhibit them at a global forum.

            As many as 32 student teams from 6 countries of the world have sent their entries for participation in various competitions of the International Youth Fest. These include students of Primary, Junior and Senior sections. While on one hand, the students participating in Expressions (card designing competition) have made cards on the topics like Good Luck, Gratitude and Congratulations on Success; on the other hand, the topics of Myriad Hues (poster making) include 'Music- Food For The Soul', 'Nocturnal Wonderland' and 'Flights of Fantasy' on which the students made beautiful posters. Similarly, under the Photomontage (collage making competition), the topics were Nature's Beauty, Recycling - Endless Possibilities and Together We Can Heal The World while in Poetry in Voice (poem recitation competition), the students expressed their ideas on 'Humour' and 'Wonders Of Nature'.

            Expressing her gratitude on this occasion, the Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus II, Ms Poonam Arora said that the new generation will lay the foundation for the New World Order. In this scenario, the International outh Fest will go a long way in fostering the spirit of 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam' and spreading World Unity.
