International Sports, Arts and Music Competition (SAM 2020) comes to a grand conclusion


 Lucknow, December 16 : The four-day International Sports, Arts and Music Competition (The SAM 2020), organized online by City Montessori School, Jopling Road Campus came to a grand conclusion today. The participating winners from Iran, Russia, USA, Greece, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Nepal and various states of India were awarded prizes amidst an educational-cultural programme at the Prize Distribution cum Closing Ceremony held online in the evening.

            At this prize distribution ceremony, Bal Bharti Public School, New Delhi was awarded the first prize in Sound Symphony Competition while in Blending Boundaries (Collage) competition, students of Little Angels School, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh were at the first place. Little Angels School, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh won the first prize in E-Expedition (Floor Art) competition and the first prize winners of Tongue Tinglers (Fireless Cooking) competition were Sunbeam Suncity School, Varanasi. The first prize winners of other competitions of SAM were : Delhi Public School, Jalandhar, Punjab in Mask O'Mystic (Mask Designing), City Montessori School, RDSO Campus in Covid Rhapsody (Choir Singing), Delhi Public School, Jalandhar, Punjab in Marionette Magic (Story telling), Purushottam Bhagchandka Academic School, Kolkata in Udaan (kite designing), Delhi Public School, Jalandhar, Punjab in Paper Modelling, Delhi Public School, Rudrapur in Folk-O-Bics (Choreography), Little Angels School, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh  in SAM Theatre and CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus I in SAM Quiz contest.

            On this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi extended his blessings to the participating students from India and abroad and motivated them to work for the benefit of the entire human race as global citizens. He said that the time has come for the student community to join hands and work for the establishment of world unity and world peace. Convener of SAM-2020 and Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs Shipra Upadhyay expressed her belief that this event has been successful in providing an international platform to the students to showcase their latent talents. She expressed her gratitude towards the team leaders for their cooperation.
