CMS Campuses celebrate Christmas with fun and frolic


 

Lucknow, 24 December : Various campuses of City Montessori School celebrated the festival of Christmas with great fervour and enthusiasm. The Christmas carols sung in praise of Jesus Christ stole hearts with their foot tapping medley. At the Christmas celebrations organized by CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, the presentations like choir, Broadway, Need a little Christmas, Christmas at all, Jerusalem, This little light of mine and Choreography made the audience tapping their foot in delight. The event became even more important with the presence of CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi; Chief Executive Officer of CMS, Mr Roshan Gandhi; Principal of CMS Jopling Road Campus, Mrs Shipra Upadhyaya and many more eminent guests.

            CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said on this occasion that Jesus Christ faced many sufferings in his life but through his sacrifice, austerity and renunciation Christ has given us the message of sacrificing self for the betterment of humanity. He said that it is now our duty to spread this message and it is possible only through World Unity and World Peace. Chief Executive Officer of CMS, Mr Roshan Gandhi extended his wishes for Merry Christmas to one and all and said that such celebrations organized at the school help in teaching students about our culture and traditions. Principal of CMS Rajajipuram Campus I, Mrs Nisha Pandey said that CMS aims at promoting the unity of religions through these celebrations. She said that the act of praying together brings people close to  each other and to the Almighty. If we pray together a feeling of Oneness will be developed and there would be happiness, unity, peace, charity, justice and abundance all around.

            At the Christmas celebrations organized at CMS Chowk Campus, a special prayer assembly  was held to teach students about the values taught by Jesus Christ and to sing his praises. Students sang Christmas carols and a skit was played online explaining the importance of the festival. CMS Asharfabad Campus also celebrated the festival with a lot of gaiety and rejoicing.
