Google invites CMS student to USA

Lucknow, 12 June : Kartik Agarwal, a very talented student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been invited by the world famous comapny Google to visit Google Headquarter in California, USA, for a four day educational excursion on the total expenses of Google itself. Academic excellence, mental skill, competency in Computer and his creative and innovative capability earned this invitation to Kartik for going to Silicon Valley. Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that this brilliant student of CMS has given the best performance at 'Google Code In' competition convened by Google and showcasing his brilliant computronics brought laurels for the institution. Kartik had prepared computer programmes  regularly for seven weeks as per norms set for the competition and posted them on the site of google that were checked by the experts of Google. During his travel to Google Headquarter, Kartik will be awarded trophy, certificate and attractive gifts.
              Mr Sharma informed that CMS endeavours to hone the talents of students by engaging and encouraging them to take part in different contests. CMS students win various national and international contests and raise the national flag high.

CMS student excels in IGCSE (Cambridge Board) exams

Lucknow, June 2 : Anahita Singh, a student of City Montessor School, Cambridge International Section, has brought laurels for the school by getting 7 A*s and 3 As in the very competitive International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the Cambridge curriculum's equivalent of a grade-10 qualification.         Anahita says, "I had been hoping for a good score, but could never have imagines that I would get 7 A*s. Government of India to award Rs 88 lakh INSPIRE Scholarship to 22 CMS students

Lucknow, 2 July : As many as 22 meritorious students of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I have been awarded the INSPIRE scholarship worth Rs. 88 lakhs by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, wherein each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh for five years. This scholarship will be given to CMS students to pursue higher studies in Science. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further informed that each student will be getting Rs. 4 lakh in five years (Rs 80,000/- per year), amounting to Rs 88 lakhs scholarship for all the 22 students.
