CMS students organize World Unity Prayer via Zoom


Lucknow, June 7 : The students and staff of City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus III organized a virtual World Unity Prayer via Zoom app today to pray for unity among all the countries to tackle global issues. The theme of the World Unity Prayer was ‘Shared Problems, Shared Solutions’.  Students, while at home, dressed as citizens of various continents and appealed to the United Nations to bring all the countries together to address common problems like Covid-19, climate change, terrorism etc as a concerted effort. One child dressed as a world citizen prayed for unity and peace in the whole world which was much needed specially in a time when the Corona pandemic has taken the world by storm and every country is grappling with tough times.
            Parents of the students joined in to watch this unique World Unity Prayer ceremony and motivated the students in their effort. Principal of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III, Mrs Deepali Gautam said, ‘our students are well aware of the chaos that Corona has wreaked upon all the countries. They decided to come up with this unique presentation to spread awareness about the importance of unity in tackling this global issue.
            Founder Manager of CMS, Dr Jagdish Gandhi heartily congratulated the staff and students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus III  for this unique effort of putting up the World Unity Prayer ceremony virtually and called for more such programmes to be organized to raise awareness among the general public about the importance of unity.
