CMS teacher honoured with Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar


Lucknow, June 27 : An environment sensitive teacher namely Mrs Shalini Srivastava of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, has been awarded 'Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar' by the Centre for Environment Education (CEE). Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed that CMS fraternity feels proud for the achievement of its teacher. Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar is given to encourage young generation to conserve environment. Mrs Shalini has been very instrumental in motivating students to conserve environment. CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II has accomplished a very commendable work on 'Sustainability and Biodiversity' under her guidance and spread the message of 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle'.
            Mr Sharma informed that CMS has always pioneered in social awareness programmes. CMS believes that a positive and constructive information in the minds of people for conserving water, energy and environment is much needed. These efforts encourage CMS students to participate in environment conservation and social awareness drives. All CMS Campuses work enthusiastically to conserve water and protect environment, said Mr Sharma. Therefore, CMS students and teachers are successful in spreading message in the society that natural resources must be consumed judiciously and with conscience.
