Lucknow, April 4 : City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus II organized its 'Divine Education Conference' today amidst great joy and celebration at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium. Chief Guest, Mr. Ritul Kamal, Deputy Director, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp of learning while the Special Guest of Honour, Ms. Madhu Pandey, District Organizing Commissioner, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Lucknow, graced the occasion with her benign presence. Addressing the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr Ritul Kamal said that to bring positive and permanent change in society, education must join hands with social development. Meaningful education causes a powerful impact on society, he added. Special Guest of Honour, Ms. Madhu Pandey, said that education should inculcate in itself new socially useful inventions, develop the capability of mankind to the fullest and commitment to serve the society.

            On this occasion, the students of CMS Rajendra Nagar Campus II presented a number of inspirational educational-cultural items and parents were delighted to watch them. The songs of peace, love and unity presented by students made the atmosphere serene and divine. School Prayer, All Religion Prayer, World Unity Prayer, Nursery Rhymes, Tabla presentation and mock World Parliament were the items that won loud applause and cheering by parents. On this occasion, the meritorious students of school, who had won prizes in various competitive examinations, cultural programmes, sports competitions and secured top positions in the Annual Examinations were honoured and awarded. Speaking on this occasion, CMS Founder-Director, Dr Bharti Gandhi said that CMS is a school with a difference. It nurtures students making them inwardly strong and outwardly smart. These conferences strengthen the thoughts of peace, love, unity and friendship among the students, she added. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon said that in this era of globalization, development of a global outlook in the younger generation is very important. At the end of the function, Principal, Mrs Priyanka Agarwal thanked the parents heartily for attending the function.
