6th day of International Children's Film Festival (ICFF-2024)
Lucknow, April 20 : The 7-day
International Children’s Film Festival being organized by City Montessori
School at CMS Kanpur Road auditorium entered its sixth day of excitement and
festival fervour in which today itself, as many as 15,000 students derived
inspiration from educational and socially useful films. During six days of the
festival uptil now, no less than 80,000 students have benefited by watching
these children’s films and imbibing human values through them. The sixth day of
the festival was one of growing excitement and an eagerness to watch the
maximum number of films by the students from various schools and colleges.
Renowned personalities such as Mr India International-2023, Shashwat Dwivedi
and actors Rubal Jain, Ishaan Punja and Aarav Shukla graced the event and motivated
the youngsters to see good films. Ahead of this, Senior Journalist, Mr Pranshu
Mishra inaugurated the 6th Day of ICFF-2024 by lighting the precious lamp of
learning as the Chief Guest.
Addressing
the gathering on this occasion, the Chief Guest, Mr Pranshu Mishra commended CMS for
organizing the International Film Festival and encouraging the students to
realize their talents in all fields of knowledge. Mr India International
2023 Shashwat Dwivedi addressed the children who had come from various places
inspiring them to dream big and try to fulfill all their dreams with continued
effort and persistence. Actor Ishaan Punja while interacting with the
school kids said that school life is the best time of our lives and the lessons
learnt at this age prepare one to face the future and deal with greater
problems in later life. Child Artiste Aarav Shukla recited an
inspirational poem for the students while Rubal Jain presented a
beautiful dance number which attracted the students to take to the dance floor.
Rubal said that the Film Festival is one of its kind and is full of surprising
talents revealed daily.
On the 6th day of the
7-day International Children's Film Festival today, educational children's
films of various countries were screened at the main auditorium of CMS Kanpur
Road apart from seven other mini auditoriums. Some of the educational films
screened today include The Way You Sea Me, Zimmedari, The Peace Girl, The
last wish, Circus show, Impassable Dream, The Zoo (Chidiakhana), Love and
Sunshine, Angulimaal, Ghar Kiska Hai, Vidya, The Misused Gift, Little Anonymous
Mobile Phone Users, The Art of Forgiveness, Get me right, No New Friends, The
missing color, Maati, India The Golden Sparrow, Phir se School chale hum,
Aasman Ki Aur, Suddenly One Day, A Happy Pizza Day, Naukari Ya Vyavsay etc. The
films of various languages were screened with English and Hindi subtitles to
make them understood easily.
