CMS student offered a US$ 1,20,000 scholarship
Lucknow, April 13 :
Tanmay Pandey, a student of City Montessori School, RDSO Campus, has been
offered a scholarship of US$ 1,20,000 by Transylvania University, USA, to
pursue higher education. He will be receiving this scholarship during the
four-year undergraduate course. Tanmay has credited this success to his
teachers at CMS and the educational environment in school. CMS Manager, Prof.
Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated this meritorious student and wished him all
success in his future endeavours. This information has come from Mr Hari Om
Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS. He
added that CMS is also a SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test centre,
which enables students of UP and the neighbouring states to apply for higher
studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships.
Mr
Sharma informed that each year, a large number of CMS students have received
admission offers from top universities in the world including Ivy League
universities. This year, uptill now, over 80 CMS students have secured
admissions on handsome scholarships in some of the best universities in the
USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, and Germany like Cambridge
University, California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT), Stanford University, Cornell University,
Melbourne University, National University of Singapore and others.
