Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi conferred the Education Warrior award

Lucknow, September 3 : Dr Dinesh Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh conferred the ‘Education Warrior’ award on Founder Director of City Montessori School, Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi here at a glittering ceremony today. At the event that was held at Hotel Fortune Park BBD, Dr Dinesh Sharma honoured Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi by presenting a Certificate of Recognition to her in the presence of eminent dignitaries from the fields of education, literature, politics, journalism etc.

        Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi expressed her gratitude while accepting the award and said, “Although this is a challenging situation in the wake of Corona pandemic, I am hopeful that this award will further motivate us to work with full dedication towards building a bright future for our children.”

        Chief Public Relations Officer of City Montessori School, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that Dr (Mrs) Bharti Gandhi along with her husband, Dr Jagdish Gandhi had laid the foundation of City Montessori School almost 63 years back with just 5 children. Today, the school has more than 55,000 students on its rolls who are not just imparted material education but are also being enriched with human values and character education. City Montessori School is the only school in the world that has been awarded the prestigious UNESCO Prize for Peace Education for its unparalleled peace education curricula.
