6 CMS students awarded Rs 5,000 each for outstanding performance in IBT

Lucknow, September 19 : Six meritorious students of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus were awarded a cash prize of Rs 5,000 each by the CMS management for bringing fame to the city at the international level with their outstanding performance in the International Benchmark Test (IBT). These students achieved an outstanding feat by achieving 1st rank globally by virtue of figuring in the 100th percentile in various subjects in International Benchmark Test (IBT) organised by Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER).

            Suman Kumar of CMS Kanpur Road Campus secured marks in the 100th percentile in both Science and English while Siddhima Shukla, Rishan Haldar and Arush Ajeet Pratap secured marks in 100th percentile in Science and Aditya Verma and Anveshika Shukla, secured marks in 100th percentile in Mathematics in this prestigious competition, making the institution proud of their achievement. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi and Principal of CMS Kanpur Road Campus, Dr (Mrs) Vineeta Kamran congratulated these exceptional students profusely and wished for their bright future ahead.Conducted by Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER), an official partner of UNESCO, the International Benchmark Test (IBT) is an internationally administered programme of assessments to compare student performance globally. The IBT tests are skill-based and do not follow any single national curriculum allowing students from all countries to be compared fairly. Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that CMS is constantly engaged in enhancing students' self-confidence and developing their overall personality by encouraging them to participate in various creative competitions. It is due to these efforts that CMS students are constantly bringing laurels to the school at national as well as international levels.
