CMS teacher felicitated

Lucknow, September 22 : Dr Shiksha Tripathi, the Environment Coordinator and teacher at City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been felicitated jointly by Wipro Earthian and Centre for Environment Education (CEE) for educating the youth and raising awareness about environment and climate change. Dr Shiksha Tripathi is among a select group of teachers from the entire country who have been felicitated for their valuable contribution towards environment.

            Under her able guidance, students of CMS Kanpur Road campus have worked extensively on ‘Sustainability and Biodiversity’ project through which they have raised awareness and motivated the citizens of society to adopt the concept of ‘Reduce, Re-use and Recycle’. Due to her incessant efforts to encourage and motivate students to work on environment-friendly projects, CMS Kanpur Road campus has bagged the Wipro Earthian award for a record number of 6 times.

            Expressing delight at Dr Tripathi’s achievement, CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that CMS teachers and students have always been at the forefront in taking social awareness initiatives. CMS believes that it is high time that the society should be sensitised and people make positive changes in their lifestyle for conservation of water, energy and environment.
