SAM-2024 showcases a spectacular fusion of creativity and talent

Lucknow, December 21 : The third day of the 5-day International Sports, Arts, and Music Competition (SAM-2024), jointly organized by City Montessori School, Indira Nagar Campus II and Ayodhya Road Campus, witnessed a unique confluence of creative thinking and artistic talent of participating students from India and abroad. Today, participants from Nepal, Sri Lanka, and various states of India showcased their versatile skills in various competitions like quiz, art making, model makingand martial arts etc. proving that the young generation is keen and vigilant about bringing creative changes to the global community. It is noteworthy that SAM-2024 is being held at the CMS Kanpur Road auditorium from 19th to 23rd December.

            The day began with the final round of the SAM Quizzers (Quiz) competition for the senior category. Ten student teams, selected from the preliminary rounds, enthusiastically participated in the competition, leaving the audience amazed with their knowledge and intellect. The quiz covered topics related to sports, arts, music, and general awareness, with participants providing lightning-fast answers that left everyone mesmerized. The audio-visual round of this competition was particularly engaging, and the audience applauded enthusiastically to encourage the students. The SAM Eco-Visualizers (Art) competition was another highlight of the day, where participants showcased their creativity and talent on themes like climate change, biodiversity, pollution, and environmental conservation.

            Similarly, the SAM Sculptors (3D Model Making) competition for the senior category was immensely captivating, with students creating exceptional models to convey the spirit of unity, peace, and harmony through sports, arts, and music. This competition was conducted under the theme "My City - Face of a Sustainable Futuristic City." The SAM Mellifluous Marshals (Martial Arts) competition added further excitement to the day. Participants enthralled the audience with their energetic, synchronized, and traditional martial arts performances, accompanied by music. Their agility, skills, and techniques were truly remarkable. Additionally, under the non-competitive event ‘SAM Conclave,’ junior category students presented their insightful views on the theme “Decoding SAM - A True Promoter of Unity of Heart, Mind, and Spirit.

            Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head, Communications, CMS, informed that the series of competitions under SAM-2024 will continue tomorrow, 22nd December. Major events scheduled for tomorrow include SAM Conclave, SAM Marionette Magician (Choreography), and SAM Floor Fusionist (Rangoli), among others.
