Grand Inauguration of the 'Intl. Students' Quality Meet' at CMS

December : The grand inauguration of the four-day 'International Convention on
Students Quality Circles (ICSQC-2024),' organized by City Montessori School,
Kanpur Road Campus, took place this evening at the CMS Kanpur Road premises.
The Chief Guest, Dr. Joseph Emmanuel, Chief Executive and Secretary, CISCE, New
Delhi, inaugurated the unique convention by lighting the ceremonial lamp. On
this occasion, the presence of quality experts and participating student teams
from 13 countries created a fascinating depiction of a mini-world. It is worth
mentioning here that ICSQC-2024 is being held from 4 to 7 December at the CMS
Kanpur Road auditorium, featuring participation from student teams and quality
experts from 13 countries, including the USA, UK, Australia, Thailand,
Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, Qatar, Ireland, Bangladesh, Nepal, Mauritius, and
various states of India.
Addressing the gathering on this
occasion, the Chief Guest Dr. Joseph Emmanuel emphasized the necessity of
quality in every aspect of life. He remarked that integrating the spirit of
quality will shape the younger generation into virtuous and exemplary
individuals, who will eventually become ideal citizens of society. CMS
Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon warmly welcomed quality experts and
students from around the globe, highlighting the urgent need for quality
individuals capable of addressing challenges effectively. She emphasized that
this need can only be met by incorporating the philosophy of "excellence
in education." Prof. Kingdon further remarked that this convention is a
unique initiative aimed at nurturing future global leaders.
Earlier, a press conference at the
CMS Kanpur Road auditorium brought together participating students, team
leaders, and quality experts from various countries for an open discussion with
journalists about this historic convention. Quality experts stressed the
importance of promoting the spirit of quality worldwide. They noted that the
convention will play a pivotal role in instilling new ideas in the younger
generation. Prominent personalities such as Mr. Madhukar Narayan,
Chairman, MSQCC, Mauritius; Dr. Hayal Koksal, President, Association for
Innovative Collaboration, Turkey; Mr. Jeff Dewar, CEO, Quality Digest,
USA; Mr. David Hutchins, Principal, David Hutchins International Quality
College, UK; Prof. Dinesh Chapagain, Chairman, QUEST, Nepal; Mr.
A.M.M. Khairul Bashar, Advisor, BSTQM, Bangladesh; and Mr. Shan Rooprai,
Chairman, Australian Institute of Business Management, Australia, along with
other distinguished quality experts and participants, shared their views.
Dr. Vineeta Kamran, Senior Principal
of CMS Kanpur Road Campus and Convenor of ICSQC-2024, mentioned that
renowned quality experts will elevate the convention's prestige with their
inspiring insights. Additionally, student teams from various countries will
participate in competitions like case study presentations, quizzes, collages,
debates, posters, slogans, and street plays.
Mr. Rishi Khanna, Head,
Communications, CMS, informed that at this international convention,
thought-provoking addresses by quality experts will begin at 9.00 am on
Thursday, 5th December. Meanwhile, participating student teams will showcase
their talents through case study presentations and collage-making competitions.
In addition, a Dandiya Night and Cultural Evening will be organized from 5:00
pm in honour of the distinguished guests and participants.
