US University offers US$ 62,000 scholarship to CMS student

 Lucknow, February 2 : Abhirup Gunakar, a meritorious student of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus has been offered a scholarship of US$ 62,000 for higher studies in the prestigious Arizona State University of USA. Besides, three more US universities namely University of Arizona, Pennsylvania State University and The Ohio State University have also offered admission to him. Thus, this talented CMS student has brought fame to the City of Lucknow having received admission offers from highly ranked universities of USA on the basis of his excellent academic record, hard work and talents. CMS Founder and renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi congratulated Abhirup for this achievement and wished for his bright future.

            Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma informed that each year more than 100 CMS students are offered admission in the top universities of the world. This year already, over 25 CMS students have been offered admission in the top universities of USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Germany etc., most of them on scholarships. He further added that CMS makes consistent efforts to expand students' horizons and provide them opportunities, facilitating their studies in top institutions of higher education both in India and abroad. CMS is the only SAT and Advanced Placement (AP) exam test center in Uttar Pradesh, which enables students of U.P. and  neighbouring states to apply for higher studies in the best universities abroad on generous scholarships. Prior to this, students of UP who wished to study abroad had to travel to Delhi to find a SAT exam centre.
