Mayor Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia felicitates CMS student Vyom Ahuja for bringing fame to the city of Lucknow

Lucknow, 19 February: Mayor of Lucknow, Smt. Sanyukta Bhatia felicitated the multi-talented class VII student of CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Yvom Ahuja, for bringing fame to the city of Lucknow and presented him a cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh on behalf of City Montessori School today. Vyom has recently been awarded the 'Pradhanmantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2021' by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the eve of Republic Day for his multifaceted talents.  Besides, the Chief Minister of UP, Yogi Adityanath also met Vyom recently and congratulated him for his achievements. In this context, at a press conference held here today at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I auditorium, CMS Founder and renowned educationist Dr Jagdish Gandhi apprised media persons about the felicitation ceremony. On this occasion, Vyom also shared his experiences and told the media persons about his various achievements.

              Prior to this, while addressing the gathering, Mayor of Lucknow Mrs Sanyukta Bhatia expressed her pleasure that the students of CMS are bringing fame to the city of Lucknow, both at the national and international level. Felicitation of Vyom Ahuja at the hands of the Prime Minister of India is indeed a proud moment for us all, she said and wished Vyom a bright future. She also thanked CMS for encouraging its students and providing them guidance to reach new milestones of success.

              Congratulating Vyom on this occasion, CMS Founder and renowned educationist,
Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that
Vyom's achievement has made not just the CMS family but the entire Lucknow proud. The award of Rs. 1 lakh that the school has presented to Vyom will help him in improving his talents and will motivate other students to put in their best in all their endeavours. Dr Gandhi also expressed his gratitude towards all CMS teachers who are engaged in identifying students’ area of interest and doing their best to encourage each and every student.

              While speaking to the media persons Vyom said that his school, teachers and parents have contributed immensely to his success by constantly encouraging him to move ahead and do something new with each passing day. He said that he will always cherish the proud moment of having been awarded by the Prime Minister and Chief Minister. He would never forget the Prime Minister's advice that the winning of an award is just an important milestone in our long journey of life, he added. He further said that the CMS Founder Dr Jagdish Gandhi is the source of inspiration for all CMS students as he teaches us to remain humble and continue our work with best and moral values.
